PermSelect introduces its line of silicone membrane ink degassers, capable of removing dissolved gases and bubbles from inks and coatings. Silicone provides for a dense membrane with no pores that can foul or leak, even when degassing inks with pigments and very low surface tension. Â The degassers use thousands of silicone hollow fibers to effectively and continuously remove gases from liquids in a single pass through the degasser. Five sizes are available which are suitable for ink flows ranging from 1 cc/min to 5 L/min. The units can be customized to end user requirements.
